Restaurant features buffet style meals whilst Smuggler's Cove is a small
á la carte restaurant located in a cove of coral rocks.
It
specialises in Seafood as well as all kinds of grilled meats.
Reservation is recommended and a discount is given to hotel
guests. Smart casual dress is required. The Minestrone
Restaurant is located at the Sports pool and features Italian
specialities as well as daily table d'hôte menu which is included in
the All Inclusive package. There is also a coffee bar featuring a
Cyber Cafe.
Other facilities include a lounge bar, 'Look Out' bar and 'Kaskazi'
bar, hair-dresser, fitness and games room and a shopping arcade.
To cool off there are three freshwater pools, a fun pool with Jacuzzi,
waterfall, children's pool and waterslide. There is a pool directly on
the sea-side and a sports pool for all those who want to do some serious
swimming.
Tennis is also available and there is an animation team on hand to
arrange such activities as water gymnastics / aerobics, water ball, fun
games, games, beach walks, visits to Bamburi Nature Trail, bowling,
darts and table tennis tournaments.
Water sports include sailing, windsurfing, canoes, pedal boats, glass
bottom boat excursions, snorkelling and water skiing in the creek.
Half day and full day deep sea fishing excursions can be arranged.
Rates are always for the charter of the full boat (max 6 persons).
The resort is very child friendly. Baby cots are available on
request, as are baby chairs in the restaurants and baby sitting can be
organised at nominal fee. The 'Adventure Club' offers an extensive
programme for children of all ages by trained and friendly
staff.
